Exchange Reporting in Your Interwebs

The most common question we encounter during the discovery phase: "How much email will be archived from my inbox?" Finding the answer was a multi-step process back in the dinosaur days of EV 10.0.1. First, the mailbox archiving task would have to be run in "report mode." Second, the report (a simple .txt file) would have to be located. Finally, it would have to be imported into a spreadsheet before any sense of the contents could be made. This tedious process is no more: after the mailbox archiving task has been run, these reports can easily be viewed through your web browser!

SharePoint Archiving and Beyond!

Definitely worthy of an exclamation point. Archive SharePoint content that extends beyond document libraries. EV 10.0.2 now allows archiving of wikis, custom lists, discussion boards, "My Sites," and SharePoint social content. "Big whoop," you say? You can now take advantage of increased OSIS, better retention and expiration of archived content - all making you better prepared to leverage the eDiscovery functions of Enterprise Vault. One small step for archiving, one large step for ensuring a legal win!
