[LAS VEGAS - Symantec Vision, Booth 230 - April 15 2013] TransVault Software today announced TransVault™ Sprint, an email archive migration tool designed for customers who want to leverage Enterprise Vault.cloud, a cloud-based service, that adds advanced archiving, compliance and eDiscovery capabilities to deployments of Office 365.
Based on TransVault Migrator, the organization’s well-proven and comprehensive enterprise migration solution, TransVault Sprint streamlines the process of uploading data from on-premise deployments of Symantec Enterprise Vault™ and other archive platforms into Enterprise Vault.cloud.
Explains TransVault CEO Barney Haye, “With TransVault Sprint we have put a lot of effort into simplifying the migration process for SME customers, or those with straightforward requirements. As well as providing a new guided interface we take care of pre-migration checks and other details such as packaging data into the format required by Enterprise Vault.cloud.”
According to Joshua Stageberg, director of product management for Enterprise Vault.cloud, “Many organizations moving to Office 365 have terabytes of information from current and former employees stored in a number of locations and going back many years. TransVault Sprint’s ability to move this data directly into Enterprise Vault.cloud, which provides unlimited storage and retention for a fixed monthly fee, allows organizations of all sizes to meet long-term information retention requirements and satisfy a variety of compliance and legal discovery requirements.”
