Information Governance: Buy Now or Pay Later

By admin / on January 23, 2014

It’s January — time to think ahead to the upcoming year and reflect back on the whirlwind that was 2013. This year promises to be a great year for CommVault’s Information Management business with great momentum in terms of market recognition and customer adoption.

We’re kicking off the year at LegalTech New York, February 4th-6th, where we are sponsoring a track for Corporate Legal Teams in conjunction with the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). The track examines the trends and best technological practices in the areas of eDiscovery and Information Governance. We’ll aim to address the biggest challenges today's corporate counsel and other legal stakeholders face…improving efficiencies while gaining control of the risks associated with exploding volumes of corporate data.

At the same time, CommVault is now hosting a solutions focused virtual event featuring our Intelligent Archive products. The event features some compelling webcasts that deliver targeted advice to solve your biggest governance challenges, from unstructured data growth to eDiscovery and compliance. Within the on-demand virtual event forum, Gartner industry veteran and analyst, Alan Dayley, shares how data growth coupled with ever-evolving regulatory and legal challenges impacts your organization. In his presentation, “Information Governance: Buy Now or Pay Later,” he shines the light on what’s driving your biggest compliance challenges, how you can extract more value from your information and why that’s important to the business. He also shares insight into what to look for in an Information Governance solution so data growth won’t get in your way. You’ll learn strategies for resolving your Information Governance problems painlessly now, so you won’t be paying later.

Reflecting back, it was a busy year for CommVault and it ended with a flurry of activity on the Information Management side of our business. In November, we received two important accolades from leading analyst firms that recognize the value of the singular software platform approach to information governance. For the first time, our Simpana 10 software has been named to the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner Inc.’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving.

Additionally, CommVault was also named a “Champion” in Info-Tech Research Group’s Content and Email Archive Vendor Landscape.

These rankings are important and validate our vision that a unified approach to data and information management is the most efficient, cost-effective and risk-adverse solution for our customers. If you are challenged with data growth that puts your governance strategies at risk, we welcome you to access the reports here and find out why InfoTech claims “CommVault has the most complete product at its price point.” You can also read more about this great news in David West’s (@dwesty) blog response or check out our dedicated CommVault Information Management YouTube Playlist for demos, customer testimonials and more.

We hope to see you at LTNY or within our virtual event forum. Stay tuned for more great news from CommVault.
